Every year, the Eugene Public Library has a "Summer Reading Challenge" to encourage kids to read more books. The program required me to keep copious notes of every book I read during June, July, and August. As a reward for reading 50 books, I would receive a book to keep. That summer, I actually ended up reading 59 books!
